![]() ![]() Even through me shoving decorations and twigs into it, the tree retained it’s sparkle! I was fearful the glitter would flake off as we (by “we” I mean my husband) brought it inside, but that wasn’t the case at all. Twenty-four hours and 10 cans of spray paint later, I was ready to bring my glorious tree inside. At this point, I knew I was going to LOVE this tree. In the pictures above you can definitely see a difference with the Glitter Blast and without it. It was awesome! Even the air was filled with glitter…don’t worry, I wore a mask. Starting at the top, I began blasting the tree with silver glitter. Decorating the tree is a family activity, right? My children were recruited to shake the rattle cans while I applied the spray paint. I set my tree up in the middle of the garage and made my husband park in the driveway for a couple of days. I knew Michael’s carried this paint so I ran back to the store and grabbed 10 CANS of it. Then I remembered a seriously sparkly spray paint I used a long time ago by Krylon called Glitter Blast. I wanted the glitter to stay on the tree really well and not fall off onto my carpet throughout the month. However, I was stumped at how to actually do this without it creating a huge mess. ![]() So I decided to add some glitter to the actual tree in order to tone down the green. Do you remember the pretty Christmas Tree I created as part of the 2nd Annual Michaels Dream Tree Challenge? Well, when I set up my tree and put my gorgeous glittery gold and silver ornaments by it, the tree looked very green.
